28 january 2019 - Berlin, Schöneweide. Ten typ jednostek powstał równocześnie dla kolei DR i dla BVG, w zakładach AEG w Berlinie czyli dawnych LEW Hans Beimler. Mają bardzo charakterystyczne głośne dżwięki napędu i są obecnie kierowane raczej na małe relacje, aczkolwiek zdarzają się na S41/42 czyli na Ringbahn.
