19 october 2019 - Göschenen, północny wlot starego tunelu pod Przełęczą św. Gotarda i pociąg regionalny relacji Erstfeld - Bellinzona. Budowa tunelu trwała 10 lat i została ukończona w 1882 roku, ma on długość 15 kilometrów. Po otwarciu nowego tunelu pozostał tu w zasadzie tylko ruch lokalny i nieliczne pociągi towarowe.
