8 december 2019 - ET42-027 jako luzaczek z Kalisza do Ostrowa Wielkopolskiego mija stację Nowe Skalmierzyce. Po lewej wieża ciśnień, chyba jedyny większy obiekt jaki pozostał po istniejącej tutaj kiedyś parowozowni, a po prawej front sporych rozmiarów dworca (dawniejszy graniczny, mocno już podupadły, aczkolwiek od niedawna w remoncie).
