12 july 2012 - Pociąg relacji Inverness - Edinburgh opuszcza stację w Perth. Class 158 nie jest zbyt częstym gościem na Highland Main Line, tutaj niestety złapany już na południe od Perth, skąd aktualnie linia ta bierze swój początek (niegdyś HML zaczynała się kilka mil na północ od Perth, w Stanley). Jednostka obsługuje obieg numer IS806, który obowiązuje od poniedziałku do Piątku. Skład przypisany jest do Inverness Depot ale najbliższą noc spędzi właśnie w Perth, żeby rano jako pociąg służbowy dojechać do Kirkcaldy, skąd już z pasażerami popędzi do Edynburga. Taka mala odskocznia od wszędobylskich class 170.
