17 july 2014 - Lokomotywa SM42-1008 z pociągiem TLK Pojezierze relacji Katowice - Gdynia Główna po wysadzeniu sporej grupy pasażerów rusza ze stacji Giżycko. Obecnie lokomotywa ta już nie jeździ.

Teraz jest ona przebudowana na SU42-1005, a wcześniej była to SM42-1008.
