  O Holender. Byłem w zeszłym roku w Warnie i to niedaleko portu, ale takiego widoczku niestety nie widziałem. :-(

  To ostatnia oryginalna laminatka 42.0 w czynnej służbie, reszta została wycofana, badz zmodernizowana na 42.1 która już nieprzypomina laminatki tylko serie 43-45 ( CD 242 )

  Takie info o serii 42 dostałem od bułgarskiego MK : Delivered later on in the 1960s - around 1968. Beautiful design, but the reduced durability of the laminated bodies and the big head glasses which broke easily forced BDZ to change the original laminated bodies of the 42's with steel ones from classes 43/44/45. The machines with the new bodies were renumbered as sub-class 42 1xx. Now only a few of them are left in service and only on freight trains as their maximum speed has been limited to 80 km/h. This year a very pleasant surprise was the repair of 42 081 at Varna depot. Now it is in regular service and is the last of the 42s with the original body which still runs.
