23 july 2006 - Alaska, between Seward and Anchorage. Coastal Classic Train is passing the most interesting part of this route, the Grandview (famous serpentine). The locomotive is headed straight to the top of this curve, which is several meters higher. This picture is taken from the last car of the train, and the locomotive is seen practically under the right angle from there.

Tutaj około 30 km/h. A całą trasę w granicach 50-60 km/h. Na niewielkich fragmentach rozpędza się do 80tki. Przejechanie całej trasy (184 km) zajmuje mu 4h15'. Ale wziąć trzeba pod uwagę, że jest to pociąg typowo turystyczny. Kursuje raz dziennie jedynie w sezonie letnim.

Ale skład za to brzydki... Jakby bajecznie wyglądała tutuaj SU45 z poczwórną bipą oliwkową.... Prawie jak Słupsk-Szczecinek.... tyle że prawie robi wieeeeelką różnicę
