Dzięki Panie Piotrze. Szkoda że u nas tak szybko je wykończyli. Widać że na MAV doczekały się modernizacji.

Thank you for the warm welcome! "M424=SM40/1 PKP?" The Hungarian Wikipedia says, this loco is numbered as SM40 at PKP. Sorry, I don't understand Polish comments, and Google translate produces funny results If you are interested in modernised version of this locomotive, plese click here: http://indafoto.hu/pacs425/image/6483407-71cd6565/details/xl This photo isn't good enough to upload on this site, but it shows the Caterpillar engine. Only the engine has been changed (EURO-2) wich is controlled by the LOCO 702 board computer, the main dynamo and the main electric system have remained unchanged. The fuel consumption has been reduced to 55-60%, and the oil consumption has been reduced to 20%.

A jakby tak w grudziądzkiej SM41 wymienić flaki na nowe? Dałoby radę? Przynajmniej lok byłby na chodzie.
